Grape - Sauvignon Blanc/Mauzac
Where - Gaillac, France
What - Alain and his family have been making wine in Gaillac, France for decades. Over their small clay soiled plot, they sustainably grow sauvignon as well as a little bit of the native mauzac. Alain keeps his process very simple by vinifying all the grapes together in stainless steel and then allowing them to age for a further 6 months before bottling.
This is zesty and fresh with notes of gooseberry, grass, lemons and orange blossom.
Light, fresh and easy. 12% ABV.
