Grape - Pinot Noir
Where - Patagonia, Argentina
What - Bodega Patritti is an Argentinian estate that can be found in the sunny, dry region of Patagonia. To take a break from the relentless sun, the weather can also turn cool and windy which is a recipe for some seriously awesome winemaking.
The climate contributes to a boost in tannins and spice, as well as freshness and minerality. This is a perfect example of a properly impressive pinot.
Grapes are hand-harvested before being sorted for the absolute best quality. Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation before ageing in French oak for a year.
On the nose, cherry juice, smoke and raisins are present. You can expect huge red fruit flavour and a balanced mouth-feel. They've done the ageing for you, so the Primogénito is best drunk now!
Balanced, cherry, dried blueberries. Vegan. Low intervention. ABV 14%.
