Grape - Pinot Noir
Where - Borgogne, France
What - This is a 7-day skin maceration of Pinot Noir from Comte Rhodaniennes, located northwest of Lyon. Fermented in amphora and aged in large oak, it is a traditional style of wine from the region. Only a handful of growers have the really, really old vine Pinot that makes this wine taste so amazing.
The Allobrogica is juice heaven. Totally ethereal and epitomises the reason why we love wine so much. This is a great wine to share with friends and get your nose right into - the cherry aromas are unrivalled!
Rustic, fun, light. ABV 12.5%.
