What - Oh, Vol de Nuit, you sweet, sweet angel. The best Provence rosé going? Quite possibly. Sylvia and Marc Dubois run the Le Loup Blue winery with low intervention practices at the absolute fore, producing banging rosé and a tiny amount of red wine.
The Vol de Nuit is a vibe and a half. The colour alone is something to shout about; pale, peachy and tempting as hell. It's all about the minerality which shines through in an elegant, refined way. Overall, it's fresh, lively and possibly a little bit ethereal. On the palate, there's heaps of fruit notes; raspberry, gooseberry, strawberry and citrus peel. A proper pink treat.
