Grape - Grenache
Where - Castille Y Leon, Spain
What - The Gaznata is produced from some of the highest elevated vines in the whole of Old Castille. This exposure to sun and cooling winds results in fruit with a high sugar content perfect for winemaking.
Grenache grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed and vinified in stainless steel under a blanket of carbon dioxide. This technique ensures a much lighter, juicier style. After fermentation, the wine is left to age before bottling with minimal sulphite and zero filtration.
This is a true crowd-pleaser with notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, violets and toasted almond. The Gaznata is made to be fun and unpretentious; just a great natural red wine that everyone can enjoy at the dinner table. We'd recomend popping it in the fridge for ten minutes or so for the best drinking temperature.
Easy, aromatic, gluggable. Vegan. Organic. Low intervention. 14% ABV.
