Grape - Petit Verdot, Carignan
Where - Colchagua Valley, Chile
What - Another rare bottle to add to our Globo Vultur collection. We love these wines and are super glad to see some natural wine starting to come out of Chile. These guys champion terroir-driven winemaking in the Colchagua Valley where they aim to create wines that really represent the grape and region.
The Petit Verdot is a balanced red wine that, after five years of ageing, is ready to drink! What really stands out is the unity of smooth, elegant PV and bright, zingy Carignan. This blend makes for a textured wine that is rich with complementary flavours.
The aroma begins with sweet and savoury spice, before melting into a raspberry sweetness. The mouthfeel is smooth and moreish where berry notes begin to kick in alongside cherry chocolates and blackberry bush.
Elegant, rare, smooth. Vegan. Low intervention. Organic practicing. ABV. 13.5%.
