Grape - Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris

Where - Oregon, United States

What - Say hello to the Halo. This wine is incredible; it'll be the light in your life. Ignoring the fact that the label is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, it's got all the substance to match.

Hiyu is a 30-acre farm in the Hood River Valley, Oregon. They're influenced by all things natural, biodynamic and permaculture-practicing.

Their farm is maintained by the abundance of fauna that calls Hiyu home. Their approach is hands-off with most of the work done by resident pigs, cows, chicken, ducks and geese!

The "Spring Ephemeral" oozes luxury and buzzes with personality. It's a medium-bodied beauty of a red wine with good acidity and refreshingly low tannin.

It immediately bangs with red fruit before gently giving way to huge herbaceous notes, brambles and forest. It's massively complex, wild and totally unforgettable. You will NOT regret.

Oh, and we only have one bottle online, so be quick!

Herbaceous, fruity, complex. Vegan. Biodynamic. Organic. Low intervention. ABV 12.5%.
