What - Jose Gil works pure magic from his five hectares of vines in Olmaza. He joined the family winery in 2012 and has snapped up the opportunity to begin making his own wine and boy oh boy has the world improved because of it. 
 
He has quickly built a reputation for producing some of the best wine in Spain and 2019's red is outstanding. It really is the wine that has everything. You will be treated to fine tannins, smooth texture, vibrant aromas and a long finish. 
 
It gives aromas of dark fruit and tonnes of herbs. The expression of fruit is particuarly stand-out, with plums and cherry dominating. The palate is full of forest floor and dried herbs which give it a delication savouriness whilst remaining juicy enough to keep smashing glass after glass. Jose has taken care of the ageing and it is now the perfect time to drink.
