What - Krasna Hora are a small production winery located in the volcanic foothills of Moravia near the Slovakian border. The winery has seen a huge, exciting revamp and is now recognised locally for producing exceptional wines that are very contemporary in style.
The Krasna Blanca is a field blend led predominately by the riesling grape variety. The fruit is hand harvested, destemmed and then fermented on its skins for two weeks before further aging in steel. The resulting vino is bottled without any filtration and sulphite is kept to a minimum.
This is bright and sunny with notes of apricot, clementine, grass, flowers and citrus.
