What - Free Run Wine Co is a natural wine company based in South Australia. They've got access to some of the best vineyards across the country and use these high-quality grapes to produce fun, approachable, no-pretension wines that please every kind of crowd. 
 
The grapes for the Samurai Shiraz are sourced from multiple organic sites across three valleys. The grapes are fermented using wild yeast in whole bunches before, post-fermentation, the wine is aged in steel before bottling with minimal sulphite. These techniques all help to keep the wine lighter and juicier.
 
This is a bouncy shiraz with notes of blackcurrant juice, stewed plums, herb and pepper. It's a go-to summer red for us and the funky label gives you a good idea that this isn't a wine that takes itself too seriously. It's just all about taste, and it tastes freakin' great!
