What - If you want wine to taste awesome...its all about Volcanos. Sandro De Bruno is a small estate in the heart of venetos volcanic hills. The 23 hectare estate sits in the shadow of Mt Calvarina. Today the estate is run by founder Tasoniero and his wife Ferraretto. The couple are completely obsessed with making this region shine. In order to do this they believe in no chemical intervention and a terroir focus is key.


Small parcels of hand tended Garganega are harvested from plots around the mountain. After hand harvesting and hand sorting the grapes are pressed and fermented in tanks. After a pretty complex blending ritual the wine is then aged in french oak for 10 months before cold settling and bottling. This is everything top Soave should be - Racy acidity, bone dry, intense pithy fruit married with salt and richer notes of toast and nut.
