Grapes - Scheurebe
Where - Pfalz, Germany
What - Emil Bauer & Sohne are two brothers who are at the forefront of bringing to life some of the older, dwindling vineyards in the area of Pfalz. They craft easy-going German wines with care and precision ensuring you always get something utterly delicious.

Scheurebe is a Riesling cross with an unknown variety. Sunny days mean that the grapes get a nice, even ripening, whilst cold nights give a noticeable freshness. After hand harvest and vinification in steel with wild yeasts, this wine is bottled with only a light filtration and sulphite is kept to a minimum.

This is brimming with melon, citrus peels, flowering blossom, granite and herb which makes it perfect for the summer. It always makes for a great gift for lovers of bone dry white wine and can be paired with bolder flavours of food. It's a staple for us and always appears on a sunny day with friends.

Bright, limey, refreshing. Vegan. Low intervention. 12.5% ABV.
