This classic yet somehow experimental vintage is created from grapes planted high in the Australian Adelaide Hills. The vineyard run by a man who was so dedicated to nurturing the perfect grape that he was one of the pioneers of off the grid living, choosing to make his vineyard entirely organic and sustainable, to match his lifestyle. His dedication to his craft shines through in this gorgeous natural Pinot Noir, which is as complex as it is delightful on the palate.
 
Just the look of this bottle makes us smile every time, a fun and fabulous watercolour label, wax sealed cork and the heavy glass bottle just screams luxe on every level, and as a gift it would be second to none. Or just treat yo’ self!
 
You’ll find classic Pinot Noir notes of dark cherry and orange rind alongside the more specialised tastes of light spices and dried herbs, leaving the impression of something far more full bodied than this light red could possibly be. It’s a deceptively easy drinker with a silky finish, and it’s not hard to tell why it’s lauded as one of the best New World Pinot Noirs of the last decade.
