Some families pass down jewellery, Léo Charrau’s lot passed down vineyards. His family have been farming around Parnay near Saumur since 1722 & now Léo’s putting his own slightly wild spin on things. Working organically across 6½ hectares, he’s part of the new wave of Loire growers making wines that feel equal parts old-school & beautifully progressive. Bullula Rosé Pet Nat is bright, fizzy & full of life. Bursting with blood orange, cranberry & pink grapefruit with a little yeasty fizz and just enough texture to keep things interesting.
