This is proper old-school Tuscany doing what it does best, no trend-chasing, no gloss, just pure, honest Vino Nobile from the Innocenti estate, sat between Montepulciano & Montefollonico. The cellar itself dates back to the 13th century… so yeah, they’ve had a bit of practice. Mostly Sangiovese with a splash of Canaiolo, this is a bright ruby red that leans into structure without losing its charm. You get black cherry, violets and a touch of mint, followed by deeper waves of black fruit, dried herbs & warm spice. 

Pairs with: Pappardelle with ragu or a braised lamb shank
