This is Gamay with the volume turned down and the vibe turned up. Canaille is bright, fresh and just a little bit cheeky — all juicy red fruit and soft structure, with a subtle herbaceous edge that keeps it interesting. Made with minimal faff by Rousselly in the Loire, it’s pure, unfussy drinking at its best. 

Pairs with: Confit duck, garlicky saucisson or just a cheese toastie with ketchup!
