Grape - Malbec
Where - Cahor Malbec
What - Chateau du Cedre is a small estate located in the heart of Cahor in South West France. Malbec is the king of grapes in Cahor. The cold winters and sun soaked summers allow for perfect ripening of this thick skinned variety. Organic fruit is hand harvested and fermented partially in whole bunches using wild yeasts. The fermentation and aging takes place in stainless steel before bottling with minimal sulphite.

This is a much juicier style of Malbec with notes of cherry, blackcurrant, damson, cedar and pepper. It's a fun, easy going drink and a red wine staple for the shelves at home.

Juicy, spicy, elegant. Vegan. Organic. Low intervention. 13% ABV.
