What - The Icon is the flagship red from the dudes at Vega Tolosa. Vega Tolosa is a family winery situated on the aride clay slopes of Manchuela in central Spain. To this day the estate is a leader in organic farming in the area. The grapes used in this 'stonker' are from ancient vines grown on the edge of a UNESCO biosphere. So these guys operate with as little environmental impact as possible.
 
After handpicking and sorting the Bobal grapes are naturally fermented and then aged in american oak barrels for 7 months. This wine is a true winter wonder: Think plush purple fruit, toasted spices, baked currants and vanilla.
