Grape - Moscatel/Malvasia
Where - Alicante, Spain
What - The Bodegas Vinessens has a great reputation around Alicante for protecting the local environment and supporting the region's economy. They solely use indigenous varieties for their approachable, low intervention wine offerings.

The Tragolargo is a great example of easy-going, great value orange winemaking. To produce this excellent juice, organically certified grapes are harvested from the arid hills north of Alicante. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified in stainless steel with two weeks of prolonged skin contact. Once the grape skins are removed, the resulting juice is further aged on its yeasts before bottling unfined, unfiltered and with minimal sulphite.

This Tragolargo Orange is round yet aromatic with refreshing notes of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine and white peach. In terms of orange wine, this is a great bet for anyone wanting to get into the world of skin-contact without too much funk to contend with.

Dry, aromatic, peachy. Vegan. Organic. Low intervention. 12% ABV.
