Grape – Zweigelt 
Where –  Wagram, Austria
What – The Eschenhof Holzer winery calls Wagram home; a beautiful area for winemaking found in Northern Austria. Named after the oak trees lining the farm, these guys truly respect and love their surroundings and we can see this shine through in their wines. 
 
The Zweigelt Rose is made entirely from grapes that have come from vineyards located in the region of Wagram. These vineyards span 2720 hectares, so there’s plenty of delicious grapes to choose from! The area boasts the best possible weather conditions for the vinification of impressively aromatic and opulent wines. Wagram is known for producing wines that are brimming with bright fruits and textures offering an appealing mouth-feel. 
 
This rosé is light, dry and a tempting coral pink colour. It is beaming with red fruit flavours and summer vibes. It really reflects the region of Wagram and is a refreshing example of the high-quality wines produced there. It will make a great addition to any picnic or BBQ as the perfect crowd-pleaser, especially if you’re often lured by light reds.
