Grape - Syrah

Where - Languedoc, France

What - Christophe Muret was once the biggest exporter of melons in France. Clearly, he has a talent for producing round fruits, as he has now turned to natural winemaking as his profession. Muret lives up in the Languedoc hills famous for Picpoul de Pinet where his love for Syrah has developed over the years. His passion for the unique vineyards and particular grapes is so evident in the wine he produces and we're super stoked to see this collaboration with Carte Blanche!

Although low intervention methods have been used to make this Syrah, it has a very traditional feel to it. Dark fruits and spice sums it up nicely. The tannins are low and smooth with huge ripe forest fruit notes. Peppery on the finish and an all-around food-friendly 'smashed it' sort of juice.

Smooth, dark, peppery. Vegan. Low intervention. Minimal sulphite. Organic practicing. ABV 14%.
