After handharvesting from two high elevation clay sites around the town of Valtuille da Abajo the grapes are pressed and gently fermented on wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Post settling the wine is then aged for 12 months in old 500ltr french barrels for optimal refinement and perfect maturity for this grape type.


This is a particularly good example of everything great about Bierzo. The wine is alive and fresh with bursts of red fruit, cranberry, peppery spices, violets and cedar. Enjoy with tapas or a selection of cured meats.


Organic. Low intervention. Low sulphite. Vegan friendly. 13.5% ABV.
