Well, you’re in luck! A single glass of this Ancestral Red fizz by The English Winemaker will transport you there in seconds.
 
The Walton Brook vineyard in the middle of the Leicester countryside, where this wine is made, boasts five acres of vines with thousands of years of mineral deposits adding extra complexity into the vines all year round.
The grapes were hand harvested in early October, and the traditional basket pressing method was used to get the best juice out of them and let the flavour shine through. Unfined, unfiltered, and with no added anything, this is a next-level natural fizz.
 
Red fizzes are already far too hard to come by for how amazing they can be, but this is one of our very favourites. We’ve never found a fizz that’s as full and comforting as this one, and it’s something that any of us would happily have a glass of at any time.
